The Health Agency of the United Kingdom has discovered Deltacron cases in the United Kingdom

Global health experts are concerned about a new coronavirus variety that has emerged (Covid-19). According to the UK’s health security service, traces of Deltacron were found in the country’s samples.
The mutant hybrid strain is being monitored by the UKHSA.
The UK Health and Safety Authority (UKHSA) has yet to comment on Deltacron’s contagiousness or severity of symptoms.
Second and third waves of infection in India were dominated by Delta and Omicron, respectively. Some experts believe Deltacron won’t be as dangerous as previous kinds because of the daily drop in incidences.
The Deltacron variant was discovered late last year by a researcher in Cyprus. At least 25 instances of Deltacron have been discovered by the University of Cyprus, according to Professor Leonidos Kostrikis.
Virus sequences from the 25 Deltacron patients were sent to GISAID on January 7, 2022.
