“Masquerader”: Please explain what this term means. On Kumar Vishwas’s’separate-ism’ Charge Against Kejriwal, Sidhu’s Response

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal was summoned by Punjab Congress Chairman Navjot Singh Sidhu on Thursday to clarify questions. However, poet and former AAP member Kumar Vishwas claims that Kejriwal already had his “formula” for becoming Punjab’s chief minister ready.
A reference to Sikh separatists’ desire for Khalistan, Vishwas claimed Kejriwal assured him that he would either become Punjab’s chief minister or the first Prime Minister of an independent country.
According to Vishwas, it was either that or the first prime minister of an independent country (Khalistan).
“Things are seldom what they look, skimmed milk masquerades as cream,” Sidhu cited the English playwright and poet W. S. Gilbert as saying. Kejriwal was called a charlatan in a Hindi poem that the Congressman also posted.
