Deep Sidhu, an actor-activist accused of involvement in the Red Fort Riots, was killed in a car accident

Deep Sidhu, a Punjabi actor and activist who came to notoriety during last year’s Red Fort riots during a farmers’ march on Republic Day, died in a vehicle accident on Tuesday night on the Kundli-Manesar-Palwal (KMP) highway near Sonepat.
Sidhu died when his automobile collided with the back of a lorry, according to Virender Singh, DSP, law and order, Sonepat.
According to authorities, the incident happened at 9 p.m. near the Peepli toll booth on the KMP in Haryana’s Kharkhoda district. Sidhu and his friend, a Punjabi actress, were driving to Punjab in a Scorpio.
