Bappi Lahiri, a Bollywood disco legend, has died at the age of 69
Bappi Lahiri, a composer best renowned for his synthetic dance sounds, died Friday night at the age of 69 in a Mumbai hospital. According to the news agency PTI, he had been hospitalized for a month seeking treatment for a range of health issues. “Bappi Lahiri spent a month in the hospital before being released on Monday.” His health worsened on Tuesday, and his family sought a doctor’s visit. According to PTI, Bappi Lahiri’s last rites would be done at Pawan Hans Crematorium on Thursday.
